This course is for 16-18 year olds ONLY, who wish to pursue a career in health and healthcare with a particular focus on adult nursing. Students can progress into roles such as: ambulance care assistant; care worker; emergency care assistant; palliative care assistant; health care assistant.

What qualifications or experience do I need?
Five GCSEs at grade 9-4 (minimum grade C) English and Maths GCSEs must be at grade 5 or higher. Science GCSE must be at grade 4 or higher, the following Level 2 Science qualifications are acceptable: students will also need an enhanced DBS.
What will I study ?
During the T Level study students will develop the core knowledge and skills that are needed for entry into a range of health occupations. Industrial placement makes up 20% of this qualification and students will be required to complete a minimum of 9 weeks (315 hours) in health-based placements during the 2-year study programme.
The T Level in Health has 2 components: Core/underpinning components, which includes: Health & Science; Core Skills;
Occupational Specialism Core, which includes: Supporting Healthcare; Supporting the Adult Nursing Team.
How will I be assessed ?
T Level in Health & Supporting the Adult Nursing is studied in the classroom and the workplace.
There will be two externally assessed exams; Employer set project and synoptic assessment in healthcare setting; Formative assessments and homework throughout the course; Two practical activity assessments – one for the core: Supporting Healthcare, and one for the occupational specialism; · A professional discussion.
What qualifications could I achieve ?
NCFE T Level Technical qualification in Health & Supporting the Adult Nursing Team – Level 3. This course is equivalent to three A-levels.
