T Levels

T Levels are new qualifications for students aged 16 to 18 who have finished their GCSEs

Each T Level is equivalent to 3 A levels and helps young people develop the knowledge, attitude and practical skills to thrive in the workplace or progress onto Higher Education or Apprenticeships.

In 2024/25 we achieved a 97% pass rate across all of our T Levels, significantly higher than the national average of 91.8%. More than three quarters of those (78.8%) were merit or Distinction grades compared to 65.3% nationally.

What are T Levels?
Gain work-ready skills and work towards a clear pathway
T Levels are a new set of technical qualifications in England for 16-19 year olds that provide an alternative to A Levels for students who want to pursue technical careers. T Levels are a mix between classroom learning (80%) and practical experience on an industry placement (20%). Gain knowledge, skills and experience needed to progress into skilled employment, further study or higher-level apprenticeships. This video from the Department of Education explains how they can work for you.
