Barnet and Southgate College celebrates strong A Level and T Level results

13th August 2026 Students at Barnet and Southgate College are celebrating another year of success, with strong performances across both A Levels and T Levels reflecting the ambition, determination and hard work of learners across the College. This year, students achieved an overall A Level pass rate of 84.2% and a T Level pass rate of 90.5%, demonstrating the strength of the College's academic and technical education offer and the quality of teaching, support and industry partnerships that underpin student success.

Science BTEC and T Level Laboratory Science Students Celebrate Outstanding Year of Achievement, Industry Success and Progression

Students and staff gathered to celebrate another exceptional year of achievement across science programmes, recognising the dedication, resilience and success of both T Level Lab Science and BTEC Science students. The annual celebration highlighted academic excellence, industry engagement, personal development and the remarkable progress students have made throughout the year as they prepare for university, employment and the next stage of their careers.

Barnet and Southgate College helps launch new alliance to tackle London's electrical skills shortage

The College has played a leading role in the launch of the Local London Electrotechnical Training and Careers Alliance (ETCA), bringing together employers, education providers and other industry aligned organisations to strengthen the pipeline of skilled electricians across the capital.
