What is Enrolment? 

Enrolment is the final stage of joining Barnet and Southgate College and is required before you can start your course. 

During enrolment, we will: 

• Confirm your course choice 
• Check your qualifications and supporting documents 
• Complete any remaining paperwork 
• Discuss your next steps and progression opportunities 
• Make sure you are fully prepared to start your studies 

Our experienced staff will also be available to support you with: Course information and guidance

• Funding and fees 
• ID and right-to-study checks 
• Timetables and induction information 
• Student support services 
• English and maths resits where required 
• Alternative study options if your original choice is not suitable

Our September Guarantee

Important Enrolment Information 

Enrolment for 2026 is fully in person and must be completed on campus. 

Students must attend an enrolment session and bring all relevant documents. 

We recommend attending as early as possible within your enrolment period to avoid delays and secure your place.

These courses are delivered at Colindale but will enrol at Barnet Campus: 

• Level 2 - Diploma - Early Years Practitioner 
• Level 2 Diploma in Care(adults)

Enrolment 2026 opening times

Tuesday 15th September

• Curriculum Interviews: 4 pm - 5:30 pm
• Admissions: 9:30 am - 6 pm

Thursday 17th September 

• Curriculum Interviews: 4 pm - 5:30 pm
• Admissions: 9:30 am - 6 pm

Documents Needed for Enrolment

If you are 16-18 and a UK Citizen

Please bring: 

• Proof of qualifications, including exam result slips or certificates (including English and Maths) 
• One form of ID, such as a UK Passport or UK Driving Licence 

If you are 16-18 and not a UK Citizen

Please bring proof of qualifications (if applicable) and one of the following: 

• eVisa documentation
• EU Settlement Scheme documentation 
• Home Office correspondence confirming an ongoing application 

If you do not bring the documents relevant to your circumstances, we may not be able to complete your enrolment. 

If you are an Adult Learner (19+) 

You will also need: 

• Your National Insurance number (unless you are an asylum seeker) 
• A payment method for any fees due 
• Evidence of earnings if applying for fee remission
