What qualifications or experience do I need?
You must be working in?an appropriate role?that enables demonstration of the Knowledge,?Skills?and Behaviours (KSB’s) of the apprenticeship standard.? You must be working in a role that allows you to demonstrate the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs) of the apprenticeship standard. This programme is intended for individuals with some experience of working with data or who have completed a relevant Level 3 qualification or apprenticeship. GCSEs in English and maths at grade 4 (or equivalent) is required.
What will I study ?
You will develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to collect, organise and analyse data to provide meaningful business insights. This includes learning how to gather requirements, explore and prepare data, and apply analytical techniques to answer questions and solve business problems. You will learn how to work with data from multiple sources, identify patterns and trends, and present your findings clearly through reports, dashboards and visualisations. The programme also covers data modelling, statistical analysis and techniques used to support decision-making across organisations. Alongside technical skills, you will develop an understanding of data governance, data quality, security and ethical use of data, as well as the communication skills needed to present insights and make recommendations to a range of stakeholders.
How will I be assessed ?
You will be assessed through a combination of work-based learning and practical activities, building a portfolio of evidence throughout the programme to demonstrate your competence. At the end of the apprenticeship, you will complete an end-point assessment consisting of: A work-based data analysis project with presentation and questioning A professional discussion based on your portfolio This ensures you can apply your analytical skills to real business scenarios and deliver meaningful insights.
