What qualifications or experience do I need?
You must be working in a relevant role that enables you to demonstrate the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs) of the apprenticeship standard.
This programme is suitable for individuals looking to develop or formalise their skills in business analysis or transition into a business or digital role. GCSEs in English and maths at grade 4 (or equivalent) are required.
What will I study ?
You will develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to understand business needs and deliver effective solutions. This includes learning how to investigate business problems, gather and document requirements, and analyse processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
You will learn how to model business processes, support business and digital change, and evaluate solutions that deliver value. The programme also covers stakeholder engagement, communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams to ensure successful outcomes.
Alongside technical skills, you will build strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and communication abilities, enabling you to interpret data, present insights clearly and contribute to organisational decision-making and continuous improvement.
How will I be assessed ?
You will be assessed through a combination of work-based learning and practical activities, building a portfolio of evidence throughout the programme to demonstrate your competence in the role.
At the end of the apprenticeship, you will complete an end-point assessment which includes a project proposal with presentation and questioning, and a professional discussion based on your portfolio. This ensures you can apply your knowledge and skills to deliver real business improvements.
