4-day Introduction to Game Development course for just £199.

Like Fortnite, Roblox or Minecraft? Go from playing game worlds to building your own.

A creative Summer holiday studio experience for ages 12–17 using professional game development tools.
World Builders is a hands-on creative studio experience where young people get to design and build their own playable
3D game world. Over the week, participants use the same professional tools found in real game studios to shape
environments, set challenges, and bring their ideas to life in a world that players can explore and complete. The emphasis
is on creativity, curiosity, and enjoyment - no previous experience needed! Just a willingness to imagine, experiment and have fun.

While the course is designed to feel creative and enjoyable, it also helps young people develop a range of valuable skills through hands-on making:

• Technology & Engineering
Participants use the Unity real-time 3D engine to see how modern digital games and interactive worlds are put together, building an understanding of how different systems work together behind the scenes.
• Design, Architecture & Art
Creating game worlds encourages spatial awareness, visual design, and thoughtful use of lighting and layout, helping learners understand how spaces guide players and tell a story.
• Science Through Creativity
Visual effects and particle systems allow learners to experiment with movement, energy, color, and light, turning simple scientific ideas into creative and expressive results.
• Storytelling & Media Skills
Using cameras, sound, and timing, participants learn how mood and atmosphere are created, drawing on techniques used in film, animation, and games.
• Logical Thinking & Problem Solving
By adding goals and challenges to their worlds, learners naturally develop logical thinking, pattern recognition, and an understanding of cause and effect.
All learning is practical and experience-led, with no requirement for prior coding knowledge. Concepts are explored through play, experimentation, and guided support rather than formal lessons.
