What qualifications or experience do I need?
Level 1 qualification in IT, Computing or Digital Skills, or equivalent experience supported by an initial assessment. GCSE English and Maths at Grade 3 or above are desirable. All applicants must attend an interview.
What will I study ?
Learners will study core digital technology knowledge alongside specialist units in networking and cyber security. Topics include digital systems and hardware, networking concepts and configuration, cyber security principles and threats, data protection and digital ethics, and planning and reviewing digital solutions. Learning is practical and project-based, reflecting real industry contexts.
How will I be assessed ?
Assessment includes a combination of externally assessed exams set by Pearson and internally assessed coursework and projects, which are externally moderated. This ensures both technical knowledge and practical skills are assessed.

Pearson BTEC Level 2 Technical Diploma in Digital Technology
