What qualifications or experience do I need?
There are no formal entry requirements. Learners will complete an initial digital skills assessment to determine the appropriate level (Entry Level or Level 1).
What will I study ?
Learners will develop practical digital skills aligned to the national Essential Digital Skills standards. Topics include communicating online, handling information and digital content, creating and editing documents, using digital devices safely and securely, and managing personal data and online identity. Learning is based on real-life digital tasks for work, study and independent living.
How will I be assessed ?
Assessment is externally set and externally marked by Pearson through practical digital tasks completed under controlled conditions. Learners must demonstrate competence against the national Essential Digital Skills standards.
