What qualifications or experience do I need?
There are no formal qualification requirements for this foundation apprenticeship; however, you must be employed in a suitable role that allows you to develop the required knowledge, skills and behaviours.
This programme is designed for individuals with little or no experience who are looking to take their first step into digital or data-related careers and develop their skills in a supportive workplace environment
What will I study ?
You will develop a broad range of employability, technical and practical skills needed to work in digital and data environments. This includes learning how to collect, format and store data, check for errors and support the secure handling of information within an organisation.
You will gain hands-on experience in the workplace, supporting tasks such as managing data, retrieving and sharing information, and assisting with basic software development or testing activities under guidance.
Alongside technical skills, you will develop key workplace behaviours such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving and organisation, as well as English and maths where appropriate, preparing you for progression into further training or employment.
How will I be assessed ?
You will be assessed throughout the programme through practical activities and ongoing reviews that demonstrate your development in the workplace.
