A hands-on, fun-filled cookery session where a parent can cook with their child (ages 8-14). Young aspiring chefs and kids who have a passion for cooking are welcome. (The course price covers both parent and child.)
No prior qualifications or experience are necessary for this course.
You will prepare a range of very tasty dishes using fresh chicken, and learn the important practices to consider to ensure it is safe to eat. You will be shown how to prepare a chicken leg into drumstick and thigh from which you will then prepare a marinade for southern fried chicken. This will be accompanied by homemade Cajun wedge fries with our own tomato relish made by your group. With the breasts from the chicken you will be shown how to perfectly stir fry as you get the chance to individually cook chicken with spring onions, black bean and cashew nuts. You will take your cooked dishes home with you and gain the confidence to make these dishes again for your family and friends.
