The Level 1 ESOL Sport course is aimed at anyone who would like a career in the sports industry or has previous experience of playing competitive sport. The course allows ESOL learners to improve their English language skills alongside gaining a BTEC Introductory Certificate in Sport. Learners will be given the opportunity to join the football training sessions.

To qualify for this course you must be eligible to study ESOL, have an ESOL Entry 3 Certificate or equivalent level and an interest in Sports

On this course you will study ESOL, Sports, Functional Skills Maths and Functional Skills ICT

This course will be assessed by continuous classroom assessment

On successful completion of this course, students will achieve an ESOL Level 1 Certificate in Speaking and Listening, Reading and Writing; Functional Skills Maths; Functional Skills ICT, and a Level 1 BTEC Introductory Certificate in Sport
