VACANCY - Apprenticeship Trainer Assessor

Salary:

 

 Full time Salary £30,000 per annum

Contract:

 

 Full time 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum Fixed Term Contract 2 years. 

Location:

 

You will be allocated a base site but you can be required to work on any of the College sites

Barnet and Southgate College are currently recruiting an experienced and qualified trainer/assessor to be employed on a full-time basis within the work-based learning unit at the college.  Part time applicants will be considered for job share options.

 

You will work on our apprenticeship programmes and should have experience of delivering on two or more of the following programmes:

•    Business Administration
•    Customer Service
•    Team Leading
•    Functional Skills (English, Maths and ICT)

 

You will have relevant level qualifications or a minimum level 3 qualification with employer engagement experience.  You will be expected to have a teaching qualification such as PTLLS, DTLLS, CertEd or PGCE; and Assessor qualification such as D32, D33, D34, A1, V1, or the new QA qualifications will be considered.  

 

Experience of delivering and supporting teaching and learning in the workplace is essential, as is proof of occupational competence in the relevant vocational area.  Experience of delivering new apprenticeship standards would be advantageous but not essential.   London wide travel will be required, as will occasional unsociable hours.
