 2 x part time roles over 38 weeks


 One post = 25 hours at Southgate campus, One post = 18 hours at COlindale and Boreham Wood Sites

Join the College as a Welfare and Equality Adviser working as part of our team that help to ensure students are safe thus enhancing their chances of success at College and in life.  We are keen to hear from people that have worked with young people in a college, school or similar environment and have an understanding of support needs, safeguarding, equality and advocacy for this age group.


The main purpose of the role will be assessing, advocating and supporting a case load of students; monitoring, recording, liaising with necessary staff and agencies and promoting student welfare and equality.


To be successful for interview you will have a relevant L3 qualification, experience working with teenagers and adults, involving welfare, pastoral, safeguarding and supporting students.  A sense of fair play and advocacy skills are also important.  This is a role that will be challenging and complex, demanding resilience, excellent interpersonal and professional judgement skills.
