For those with a keen interest in silver jewellery, whether you are a beginner or have some experience in jewellery making.
There are no formal requirements. Good eyes, a practical mind and strong hands, are an advantage.
The course covers basic techniques of Jewellery making and Silversmithing, such as sawing, shaping of metal, annealing, softening of metal, soldering, polishing and texturing on surface. Once you have covered the basics, you will be encouraged to design your own pieces. The course will be delivered through demonstrations, handouts and individual practice.
There will be continuous assessment throughout the course.
