This is an introductory course for beginners wishing to learn basic sewing skills and the techniques used in clothes making.
All are welcome; no previous experience is required
Through demonstrations, discussion and practical one to one guidance. Students will be given the opportunity to use both domestic and industrial machines and the use of an overlocker. By the end of the course students will be able to set up and thread the sewing machine, produce a range of seam samples, darts and hems. Insert a zip, sew on a waistband, insert a collar, sleeve and facing.

Basic materials included. Your tutor will advise of any additional costs at induction stage.
