This full time course builds on the basic skills learned in the Plumbing & Electrical Installation Level 2 Diploma and helps you develop advanced skills for a career in plumbing. You may already be working as a plumber, but you will gain expert skills throughout the course helping you get a real insight into the full range of plumbing services. This diploma will help towards qualifying as a plumber helping you learn, develop and practice the skills you need for employment or further career progression.

All applicants must have successfully completed the Plumbing Studies Diploma Level 2 and have at least 2 GCSEs grade A* to D including maths or a Level 1 maths pass during the admission process.

For this Level 3 Diploma you will learn about complex plumbing and heating systems including, domestic gas installations, health and safety in building services, complex cold and hot water systems and complex central heating systems.

Your course work will be assessed by a combination of short question online test on each subject and observed assessments of your practical work by a qualified assessor. You will be given help to prepare for all assessments and tests.

Successful completion of the course will lead to an award of Diploma Level 3 (City & Guilds 6035 Level 3). From here you can choose to proceed to NVQ level 3 or seek an Apprenticeship.
