Suitable for technicians who wish to acquire the skills to repair and maintain vehicles with hybrid systems, this course is Ideal if you currently work in the automotive industry but need more expertise to deal safely with the emerging technology

Candidates need to have industry practical and knowledge with in the areas of MET, Body repair or vehicle mechanics and you should have a standard of literacy and numeracy supported by a general education equivalent to Level 1.

The course consists of multiple units from which technicians will gain knowledge of high voltage hybrid technologies and an understanding of their dangers. Topics covered include health and safety in hybrid engineering and understanding hybrid electric vehicle systems and how to make the vehicle safe to work on

There will be a combination of practical and on line assessments
