This course is for experienced adults working in the crash repair industry looking to obtain re -accredited certification in the discipline area of vehicle panel beating. (Please note Welding qualification AOM 009 must be achieved before any panel qualification can take place and a minimum of 3 years' experience needed to apply)

Welding Certificates: Candidates MUST present a current Assessed Outcome Module Certificate for AOM - 009 to the centre when registering for ATA Panel Full Assessment or AOM Update. Candidate must also hold a current ATA Senior Panel Technician Certificate Or An NVQ level three in motor vehicle accident body repair which is less than three years old OR An NVQ Level 3 in motor vehicle accident body repair which is less than three years old

The 1st day of the course will allow candidates to familiarise themselves with our work shop equipment and prepare for starting the IMI accreditation assessment. This will continue with candidates completing an online test and 2 practical tasks covering different skills. The tasks will cover the following areas: MET - Complex Welded Panel/Section MAG/MIG Braze/Bond/Rivet (Candidates MUST present a current Assessed Outcome Module Certificate for AOM - 009 to the centre when registering for ATA Panel Full Assessment or AOM Update)

You will be assessed by a combination of practical observation and an online test.

On successful completion you will achieve an IMI Senior Panel Technician accreditation certificate
