This course is for Senior Technicians with a valid IMI senior accreditation in the M.E.T sector who are applying for re- accreditation.

The Senior Technician should hold a valid IMI senior accreditation in the M.E.T sector or hold a Level 3 M.E.T VCQ qualification completed within a 3 year period previous to the date of application.

The first day of the course will allow candidates to familiarise themselves with our work shop equipment and prepare for starting the IMI accreditation assessment. This will continue with candidates completing an online test and 4 practical tasks measuring their competence level against a set of criteria. Tasks include: SRS - Scan Tools MET - Complex Vehicle Electrical - Complex Fault Finding Four Wheel Alignment - Interpretation of Data

You will be assessed by a combination of practical observation and an online test.

On successful completion you will achieve an IMI Senior M.E.T Technician accreditation certificate.
