This apprenticeship is for an entry level role to the business within the HR function. However, it is more likely to be a progression from a lower level role or apprenticeship, building on the knowledge and skills gained in that role or apprenticeship.
Individual employers will set the selection criteria for their apprentices. Candidates must be in employment, and have achieved grade C (4/5) or above in English and maths at GCSE Level prior to commencement. Most candidates will hold A Levels or an existing relevant Level 3 qualification. Other relevant or prior experience may also be considered. Those requiring English and maths may be accommodated but additional attendance sessions may be required.
A range of HR Concepts which are applied to the work place including: HR consultancy; Contributing to business change; Building HR capability; HR information analysis; Relationship management.
A range of assessment methods will be utilised, this provides the opportunity for different learning styles and individual needs of learners to be taken into account. This will include attendance at college, assessment in the workplace and online support.
The apprentice will complete: CIPD Level 5 Intermediate Certificate in Human Resource Management - within which they will be able to focus on their chosen option (a qualification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development); Level 5 HR Partner / Consultant Apprenticeship Standard.
