For students who need to achieve scores of 6.0 and above, for college or university.

Your level should be B2-C1 CEFR. We will test you to make sure the class is right for you.

This course will prepare you for getting the best possible result in the Academic Cambridge IELTS exam. As well as plenty of opportunities to practise for the test, you will learn from our specialist exam teachers who will give you information and tips to help you develop exam techniques in all 4 areas: writing, reading, listening and speaking, such as; Essay and report writing skills, reading skills for academic texts, vocabulary on a wide range of topics and speaking skills in a variety of contexts.

All students will be given homework to do every week including writing and reading tasks. You will also be given tests to assess your progress.

You can take the IELTS exam at the end of your course.

You can be assessed at Southgate Campus, Mon - Fri. 10.00 - 12.00. The test usually takes 1 hour. If you cannot come for an assessment, we can send you the assessment test by email.

You will need to buy a course book to support your learning which are approximately £35.00. You are expected to bring a file and notebook to all your classes. The IELTS exam costs £150.00

You can start your course at any time during the year. Maximum class size: 20.

There is a great social programme for you to enjoy e.g. trips to museums and the theatre, visits to places outside London, like Brighton and Cambridge.
