Learning difficulties and mental health

CourseLINK

The course is a progression route for young adults (16-18yrs) recovering from mental health conditions or who are suffering from stress or distress.

What happens on the course?
Students study English, maths, ICT and art. There is also a PSD class (personal & social development) and a class called SuperStudy where we look at skills and reflect on progression options. Some classes work towards Functional Skills certificates (English, Maths, ICT).

How long is CourseLINK?
1 year. The course runs from September to June, but it is possible to join at other points in the year. (January and April).

When does the course run?
The course runs from Tuesday to Friday during term times between 11.00 and 3.00pm.

Where is the CourseLINKcourse?
The course is held at our Southgate Campus.
